Legacy systems are a key concern
for major corporations and very specifically a
considerable compliancy risk in the banking
industry.
For a prime Dutch bank I have coached their
Wholesale Banking branche through a two-year legacy
reduction programme effectively migrating (utilizing
an onshore-offshore migration factory) all
applications running on legacy systems towards
current state of technology including virtualisation,
hosting concepts and operational standardisation. |
